XRP Ledger developers refute their assessment of being at the bottom of the blockchain security rankings
Developers at XRP Ledger are rebutting a recent ranking by research firm Kaiko, the Internet reported. The ranking covers more than ten blockchain networks and ranks XRP Ledger as the last in terms of security. The result rekindled a long-standing debate about the degree of decentralization and overall credibility of the cryptocurrency platform. In the "Blockchain Ecosystem Ranking" released by Kaiko on August 13, XRP Ledger's security score is 41 points (out of 100 points), ranking bottom among the 15 blockchains included in the list. Ethereum topped the list with 83 points, followed closely by Ethereum's second-layer network Arbitrum and first-layer network Solana. However, Ayo Akinyele, director of engineering at RippleX, said in an interview that XRP Ledger's low scores were misleading and emphasized that the network has a long-term and stable safety record.
