U.S. Immigration Bureau raided Texas Bitcoin mine and arrested several China employees
According to online reports, according to Blockspace, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted a surprise inspection of the Lonestar Dream Bitcoin mining site in Pyote, Texas on September 29, mainly targeting the site's ASIC maintenance center operated by Bitmain affiliate ADW Tech. Law enforcement actions involve multiple government agencies including ICE, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Homeland Security Investigation Bureau (HSI), the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Witnesses at the scene said that law enforcement officers used helicopters, snipers and other equipment. About 12 to 13 people were taken away during the raid, most of whom were China citizens with expired visas.
