OpenAI's new version of Sora will require copyright owners to proactively "opt out" to prevent copyrighted content from being generated into videos

According to online reports, according to people familiar with the matter, OpenAI plans to release a new version of Sora video generator, which will use copyrighted content when generating videos, unless the copyright holder chooses to "opt out", which clearly expresses his disapproval of copyrighted content is used to generate videos. Sources said that OpenAI has started notifying agencies and film studios in the past week about the new version of Sora and its exit process, which will be launched in the next few days. The new exit process means that film companies and other intellectual property owners must explicitly require OpenAI not to use its copyrighted works in videos generated by Sora, otherwise its copyrighted content will be used to generate AI videos.
