Musk says he will significantly cut campaign donations in the future

Online reported that Elon Musk said on Tuesday that he plans to significantly reduce political donations in the future. Musk spent more than $250 million to help Trump win a second term. But when asked by the Qatar Economic Forum whether he would maintain the same amount of donations in future elections, Musk denied it. "I think there will be a significant reduction in political donations in the future," he said. When asked why, he simply responded: "I think I've done enough." The world's richest man also left room for a change in attitude. He said: "If I find it necessary to make political donations in the future, I will still do it. But there is no reason at present." This statement may disappoint Republicans seeking re-election in 2026. In addition to supporting Trump's donations, Musk also invested more than $19 million in the final stages of the 2024 election to help the Republican Party win a narrow majority in Congress.
