Musk: Will remain Tesla CEO for the next five years
Online reports that Musk said he has committed to serving as Tesla's CEO within five years, easing some investors 'concerns about his commitment to the automaker. Musk talked about his future at Tesla during a remote appearance at the Qatar Economic Forum in Doha on Tuesday. He criticized a Delaware Chancery Court judge who twice ruled that the huge salary package Tesla awarded him in 2018 was invalid, but said he did not believe the issue would affect his decision to stay in office. "This salary should be commensurate with the extraordinary achievements achieved, but I am confident that whatever decision a Delaware judge makes will not affect future salary arrangements," Musk said. Musk also said there were no conflicts of interest between the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and its business.
