The Federal Reserve's voting committee has different views on future interest rates, with mixed expectations for interest rate cuts
According to online reports, the Federal Reserve's voting committee's views on future interest rates have appeared "three divisions" this year. Some officials such as Milan supported a 50 basis point rate cut in October, while Powell pointed out that economic data was stronger than expected and needed to be acted cautiously. Both Waller and Bauman support two more interest rate cuts before the end of the year. On the contrary, Musalem and Schmid are cautious about further interest rate cuts and believe that inflation risks need to be paid attention to. (Jin Shi)
