Internet reports that Ji Hun Kim, a former executive of crypto trading platforms Gemini and Kraken, has been officially appointed as CEO of the Crypto Innovation Council (CCI). Kim previously worked at Gemini for three years and at Kraken for less than a year before serving as CCI's chief legal and policy officer, and Kim will serve as the organization's interim CEO starting in December 2024. CCI is one of the leading industry advocacy organizations that regularly provides digital asset policy advice to U.S. lawmakers and regulators. Kim said in a statement that this is a critical period for the development of the industry and a bridge between technology and public policy needs to be built.
