JPMorgan adjusts senior management of its quantum computing team

Internet reports that JPMorgan Chase has comprehensively reshuffled the leadership of its internal research group responsible for quantum computing and other advanced technologies. Former IBM inventor Marco Pistoya recently left, according to people familiar with the matter. He became the head of JPMorgan Chase's applied research group in 2020. According to an employee memo sent Monday, JPMorgan Chase has hired Rob Ott, State Street's global head of digital technology and quantum computing, to replace Pistoya.
