Playtron has announced the launch of Game Dollar, a new programmable stablecoin developed in partnership with M0 and Bridge to support purchases, subscriptions and rewards in the gaming ecosystem. Providing support for the Linux-based GameOS game operating system, which aims to unify the decentralized gaming experience across platforms, including mobile devices, PCs and game consoles, where the in-game economy remains largely isolated. It is understood that the game stablecoin is built on the Sui blockchain and is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2025.
