Executive Director of the White House Cryptocurrency Committee: The amount of Bitcoin held by the U.S. government is currently "beyond discussion"

According to online reports, Bo Hines, executive director of the White House Cryptocurrency Committee, declined to disclose the amount of Bitcoin held by the U.S. government in the latest podcast. Previous reports have shown that the bitcoins actually held by the U.S. government may be much lower than the 200,000 previously estimated by Trump's cryptocurrency adviser David Sacks, which is only 29,000. Regarding the specific figure, Hines said it was "not possible to discuss it at this time," but confirmed that the government plans to increase its holdings of Bitcoin through a "budget neutrality" approach. It is worth noting that due to differences in asset classification methods, currently only confiscated bitcoins that have completed judicial procedures can be counted as government assets, while bitcoins that are in a seized state still have legal uncertainty.
