On May 3, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Nevada filed a lawsuit against a company called IML on May 2, accusing it of falsely promoting cryptocurrencies, foreign exchange, binary options and stock trading courses. A total of approximately US$1.2 billion has been defrauded since 2018. The company has operated under multiple names such as IM Mastery Academy and iMarketsLive.(TheBlock)
