Tesla's new six-seat SUV debuts starting at 339,000 to compete with the ideal L7

Ideal occupies a leading position in the market segment with the L series, while the Model Y L makes up for the shortcomings of the family scene.

On August 19, Tesla's official website in China officially launched a new six-seat pure electric SUV-Model Y L, with a starting price of 339,000 yuan.

The Model Y L is a family-oriented model built on the basis of the Model Y platform. Tesla equipped this model with two sets of financial car purchase plans: a down payment of 99900 yuan, with zero interest for three years; or a down payment of 45900 yuan, with five years of ultra-low interest. At the same time, 8000 yuan car paint optional gift and three charging rights are superimposed, with a total discount of nearly 20,000 yuan.

From the perspective of pricing structure, the Model Y L's starting price of 339,000 yuan is just between the ideal L7 (starting from 319,800 yuan) and the ideal L8 (starting from 339,800 yuan), and overlaps with some high-profile models of the M7 (starting from 289,800 yuan).Tesla's move is obviously an accurate cut into the Red Sea range of six medium and large new energy SUVs of RMB 300,000 to RMB 350,000, trying to compete for products with stronger battery life and control advantages in addition to the ideal and knowledgeable home smart cockpit ecosystem.
