On Tuesday (Nov. 28) local time, Berkshire Hathaway posted a statement on its subsidiary, the U.S. Business Information website, saying that the family of Vice Chairman Charlie Munger had informed the company minutes earlier that Munger had died peacefully in a California hospital that morning at the age of 99.。Just over a month from his 100th birthday。Warren Buffett, chairman and CEO of Berkshire, wrote in a press release that "without Charlie's inspiration, intelligence and participation, there would be no Berkshire Hathaway today."。
