Online reported that Coinbase cited a report from the inspector general as saying that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) deleted Chairman Gary Gensler's text message records for a year. Paul Grewal, Coinbase's chief legal officer, said the company had asked a federal court to "deal with this serious breach of public trust."
