US congressman: Trump's involvement in encryption makes legislation "more complex", but stablecoin and market structure bill is still expected to pass before August
According to online reports, U.S. Rep. French Hill said that President Trump's launch of crypto services such as TRUMP Meme "does make our work more complicated," but "there are still members of both parties working behind the scenes in both houses of Congress to find consensus." He stressed: "I think it 'feasible' to send the stablecoin bill and market structure bill to President Trump's desk before Congress adjourns in August." Hill pointed out that the two bills "complement each other," which is why both bills are crucial."
