According to online reports, Sony's Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain Soneium has announced a partnership with Plume, a modular Layer 2 blockchain focused on real-world asset finance (RWAfi). It will provide Soneium users with on-chain RWA pledge and revenue product access through Plume's cross-chain interoperability layer SkyLink, including assets such as tokenized U.S. Treasury bonds and private credit. The integration will leverage a network of issuers that manage more than US$4 billion in tokenized assets. These include Ondo Finance, a major issuer of tokenized U.S. Treasury bonds.
