Chairman Cantor Fitzgerald claims to personally verify Tether reserves and refute rumors
Internet reported that at the Consensus 2025 conference in Toronto, Cantor Fitzgerald Chairman Brandon Lutnick said: "I personally checked a lot of their reserves, and we proved a lot of rumors wrong." He said that in the early days of cooperation with Tether, there were "many rumors" that Tether had not fully reserved. Lutnick emphasized that although Bloomberg had reported that he had interned for Tether in Lugano, Switzerland, he clarified: "That's not true."
